Statement on the tragic events at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University

We express our deepest condolences to the bereaved and all those affected by the tragedy which occurred on the 21st of December at the Charles University Faculty of Arts. Today at 16:00 we will lower the flags on the Na Poříčí building to half-mast as an expression of remembrance as part of the declared state mourning.

No foreign citizens were among the casualties. Three citizens of the Netherlands and UAE are among the injured.
